🌱 Victoria Amazonica Lotus Seeds — grow the legendary giant water lily, one of the most spectacular aquatic plants in the world. Its enormous floating leaves are a breathtaking sight.
📦 Packet size: 5 seeds — enough to start several of these magnificent water lilies.
🗓️ UK sowing season: Late spring to summer (warm, bright conditions; grow in water containers).
🌱 Growing guidance: Sow in clean seed compost at a depth of around 2–3 times the seed's diameter. Keep the compost evenly moist but not waterlogged. Give seedlings bright light and good airflow, then harden off gradually before planting outdoors. Victoria amazonica needs tropical warmth and a large water tank or heated pond.
Tip: This is a challenging but incredibly rewarding plant for the dedicated aquatic gardener.
